Returns & Refund Policy

All Devi’s products are hand tooled by skilled craftsmen. Tool marks, imperfections in polishing, color variations, and enameling are inherent elements in all hand crafted / tooled metal and/or stone products. 

Care must be taken to preserve the product(s) from tarnish. Devi does not offer lifetime warranty on the tarnishing process.

Each shipment is carefully inspected for any defects excluding tool marks, imperfections in polishing, cracks, color variations and enameling at the warehouse, before being shipped out.

 

CANCELLATION

The terms and Conditions of Devi’s cancellation policy are as follows:

  1. If a customer cancels the order before the products are shipped out, Devi will refund the full price paid for the product.

RETURNS

The terms and Conditions of Devi’s return policy is as follows:

  1. A customer must inform (“www.devijaipur.com”) of the intent to return a product(s) within 07 days inclusive from date of delivery by sending an email at jaipurdevi@gmail.com.
  2. A product(s) will be deemed defective only if the following conditions prevail:
    • If the product(s) material is cracked or broken on receipt of the said product by the customer.
  3. The product(s) must be returned to Devi unused / undamaged, in the original packaging, along with the care instructions, box, ribbon (if any) and original invoice or gift receipt within 07 days, inclusive from the date of purchase with copy of receipt of delivery.
  4. Return delivery address for product(s):

    Devi, 103 Prithvi Apartments, Prithvi Raj Road, C-Scheme, Jaipur, Rajasthan, 302001 INDIA.

  5. Product(s) used or damaged by the customer will not be accepted as returns and hence no money will be refundable.
  6. The Customer will incur all shipping charges, including any Octroi, VAT and/or local taxes for returning the product to Devi.
  7. Product(s) being returned are the sole responsibility of the customer till the good(s) are delivered & received by Devi.
  8. Product(s) damaged or misplaced by the courier company in transit, when a customer is returning a product will not be accepted as a return and no money will be refunded.

REFUND

The terms and Conditions of Devi’s refund policy is as follows:

  1. On receipt of goods the customer will be intimated at the email address submitted at the time of registration.
  2. Shipping charges and local taxes / VAT / Octroi incurred by Devi for sending the product to the customer is non refundable.
  3. Devi will (“only”) refund the published price of the product, (“LESS”) VAT, Octroi & shipping charges as mentioned on the final invoice.
  4. Refund(s) will not exceed the actual value of the product(s) as per point 3 of the Refund sub section.
  5. Devi will not pay any transaction fee levied by the Credit Card Company and/or Bank on and/or to the customer for completing the refund transaction.
  6. No refunds, for purchases shopped online can be made in cash.
  7. The (“refund amount”) will be credited to the customer’s internet bank account / debit card / credit (“within 15 working days”) from the date of receiving the returned product(s) from the customer, subject to the following conditions:
    • The product(s) must be returned to Devi unused / undamaged, in the original packaging, along with the care instructions, box, ribbon (if any) and original invoice or gift receipt.
    • Devi is not liable for delays in the refund process due to bank holidays or Force Majeure. Actual processing time for a refund transaction can vary from bank to bank from 48 to 96 hours.

COMPLETE REFUND

A complete refund within (“15 working days”) will be made of (“total price for the product(s), including taxes and shipping charges”) if the following conditions prevail:

  1. Within a 02-(two)-day window period, a customer can cancel the order by informing us on email at jaipurdevi@gmail.com.
  2. If the product(s) is misplaced / damaged in transit to the customer.
    • A complete refund will be given.
    • Product(s) will be replaced free of cost.

EXCEPTION TO NO REFUNDS

  1. Once the shipment leaves the warehouse for delivery.
  2. After 3 failed delivery attempts by the shipping agent. Please note the delivery attempts vary among the shipping agents. This will be informed before the product(s) are shipped out.
  3. An incorrect delivery address.
  4. Parcel refused by the recipient at the time of delivery.
  5. Product(s) returned used, manhandled or damaged.
  6. Product returned is received after the mandatory 07-(Seven)-day return window period.
